Written for my granddaughter
when she was young.
Night Before Christmas
T’was the night before Christmas
And kids everywhere
Were thinking of Santa
And when he’d be there
But one little girl
Named Kallie Lair
Though waiting for presents
Was focused on prayer
‘Cause she knew that Santa
Was only for fun
But Jesus the Savior
Was God’s precious Son
